I’ve always been fascinated by Italy’s streetwear scene. Names like Marcelo Burlon (and OFF-White subsequently, since he owns 35% of the brand’s stocks) and Gucci are clearly dominating the entire “designer streetwear” scene and it’s something which automatically created interest in smaller (but talented) designers such as, you get it, Danilo Paura.
Quality Over Design
I personally really enjoy Danilo’s approach to design, especially since the whole designer streetwear sphere is heavily forgetting about the quality of such (yep, very expensive) products. Of course, Paura’s brand (both Mirror and Danilo Paura, his first clothing line) are 100% made in Italy and with top quality materials.
Kappa x Paura
Recently, Danilo handed over to the famous streetwear/activewear brand Kappa his creative approach and released one of the most looked after collabs of Pitti Uomo’s 2018 edition. This collaboration, even if in a capsule-related scale, was very successful and it’s currently sold out worldwide.
